I have always loved taking photographs. It started when I was 12 years old—something about holding a camera just felt right. Even back then I wanted to be a photographer, but I was told to pick a better career and save it for my spare time. So that’s exactly what I did and 30-plus years later, I’m so glad I never stopped.
In high school I rediscovered that passion properly studying photography in Years 10, 11 and 12, and falling in love with it all over again. Then, when I went on to study Teaching, I bought my first SLR camera, and that was it. No going back.
